MOU – Southeast Colorado Hospital
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Baca County Public Health Agency (BCPHA) and Southeast Colorado Hospital District (SECHD)
This MOU, entered into in good faith on February 7, 2025, is between Baca County Public Health Agency, hereinafter referred to as BCPHA and Southeast Colorado Hospital District, hereinafter referred to as SECHD.
Purpose and Scope
The purpose of this MOU is to clearly identify the understanding between BCPHA and SECHD regarding access to an Infectious Disease Nursing personnel member and additional nursing personnel members. Access to an Infectious Disease Nursing personnel member and additional nursing personnel members shall, at all times, be contingent upon and limited to SECHD’s situation and needs at any given time, as determined by SECHD personnel.
Access to an Infectious Disease Nursing personnel member may include, but is not necessarily limited to, the following activities and functions:
- Support with an infectious disease outbreak;
- Support and guidance on maintaining infectious disease outbreak plans; and
- Support with public vaccination clinics
Access to additional nursing personnel members may include, but is not necessarily limited to, the following activities and functions:
- Support with public vaccination clinics
Terms and Termination
The term of this MOU commences on the first date written above, and shall continue into perpetuity unless cancelled by either party, giving 10 days’ notice.
Prior Infectious Control Activities and Functions
Let it be known that for at least 2 years prior to this signed MOU, SECHD had already been providing access to an Infectious Disease Nursing personnel member and additional nursing personnel members for support, guidance, and vaccination clinic activities by a verbal, mutual understanding between SECHD and BCPHA.
