Communicable Disease Information
BCPHA is responsible for following and coordinating communicable diseases, infection control, and disease surveillance in Baca County. BCPHA coordinated with regional and state epidemiology personnel regarding communicable disease efforts. For more information regarding communicable disease monitoring please call 719.523.6621
BCPHA also monitors animal encounters, such as animal bites and rabies exposures. If you have come in contact with an unknown or suspicious animal, please report the encounter to:
