Routine childhood vaccination services are available to children at a low cost or free. Vaccination of adults is offered for a fee. BCPHA offers immunization services at scheduled clinics or by appointment. For information regarding immunizations visit www.cdc.gov or www.immunize.org.
Private Vaccination Services
VFC (Vaccines for Children) Program
Routine childhood vaccines are provided to children ages 6months – 18 years and 11 months who are not insured or underinsured (Medicaid) for free. BCPHA can assist you in locating a clinic that offers the VFC (Vaccines for Children) Program.
317 Program
Routine adult vaccines are provided to individuals ages 19 and older who are uninsured or underinsures for free. Contact Baca County Public Health Agency to determine eligibility.

CIIS (Colorado Immunization Information System)
Baca County Public Health Agency uses the Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS) for recording and updating of patient immunizations. This is a confidential computerized population-based system that collects immunization data of all persons born, residing in or receiving immunizations in the state of Colorado.
