Birding

Baca County is home to five of the fourteen trails which make up the Colorado Birding Trail. Over 400 species of birds live in the area, with the fresh air and abundance of natural habitat. The section of trail located in Baca County is the Comanche Trail that connects local historical sites, archeological sites and recreation where visitors can view birds and wildlife.
