You are hereby notified that on November 18, 2021, the Treasurer of Baca County, Colorado, sold a tax lien on the following property at public sale to Various Collaborators (“COP HOLDER”):
Legal Description
½ Mineral Interest South Half (S2), Section 29, Township 31 South, Range 44 West of the 6th p.m., 320A (160A).
½ Mineral Interest Lots 9, 16, East Half Northeast Quarter (E2NE4), Northeast Quarter Southeast Quarter (NE4SE4), Section 13, Township 31 South, Range 44 West of the 6th p.m. 163A (82A).
½ Mineral Interest Northeast Quarter (NE4), Section 32, Township 31 South, Range 44 West of the 6th p.m. 160A (80A)
Situate in the County of Baca, State of Colorado
A Certificate of Purchase was issued to the COP HOLDER for unpaid property taxes for the year 2020-2024. The property was assessed in the name of Charles G Ray Jr (“PROPERTY OWNER”).
On August 13, 2025, the certificate was assigned to Legacy Ranch Holdings, LLC.
On August 13, 2025, Legacy Ranch Holdings, LLC (“LAWFUL HOLDER”), the current certificate holder, filed an Application for a Public Auction of a Certificate of Option for Treasurer’s Deed (COO), under C.R.S. 39-11.5-101.
NOTICE: The property will be sold at public auction to the highest bidder at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Baca County Courthouse 741 Main Street Suite 2, Springfield, Colorado. The sale will include the real estate and all interests held by the Lawful Holder, along with applicable fees, costs, and legal charges.
