Open Position – Child Welfare/Adult Protection Caseworker

Baca County Department of Human Services is currently accepting applications for the Child Welfare/Adult Protection Caseworker position. This is a full-time position that includes a benefit package. The Caseworker position provides a full range of generalist social caseworker services for child abuse and neglect, youth-in-conflict, and at-risk adult cases. This position works to achieve the primary goals of safety, permanency, and well-being for children, youth, and families. Qualifications for the position include a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a behavioral science-related field that meets state requirements from an accredited college or university. A current Driver’s License is required, and a criminal background check will be conducted.

Salary range: $45,000 to $50,000, depending on education, knowledge, and experience.
