Early Voting: October 19 – November 2, 2020 – M–F 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (excluding Sundays)
Saturdays: October 24 and October 31, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Election Day: November 3, 2020 – 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

You can confirm your voter registration information and check the status of your mail ballot by visiting www.GoVoteColorado.gov or call us at the Baca County Election Office at 719-523-4372

Go to https://colorado.ballottrax.net and sign up for alerts when we receive, accept and count your ballot. You may select the types of messages you want to receive, when during the day you want to receive them, or stop receiving them altogether, if you prefer.

The County Clerk’s Office must receive your ballot by 7:00 PM on Election Day. Postmarks do not count.

In accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes, Section 1-5-205, notice is hereby given that Tuesday the 3rd of November is a General Election that will be held in Baca County as an all-mail ballot delivery election.

Ballots will be mailed to each active registered elector the week of October 12-16, 2020 in accordance with C.R.S. Section 1-7.5-107.3(a)(I).

As soon as you receive your ballot you may vote and return it the following ways:

    1. Drop your ballot off at the Baca County Clerk & Recorder’s Office at 741 Main Street, Suite 3, Springfield, CO 81073.
    2. Place adequate postage on your ballot return envelope and mail it back
      1. Remember to allow enough time for mail delivery of your voted ballot.  All ballots must be returned to the Clerk and Recorder’s office by Election Day, November 3, 2020 by 7:00 p.m. in order to be counted, whether by hand delivery or mail delivery
    3. Drop your ballot in the 24/7 Drive-Up Drop Box located in the Courthouse Driveway/Drive through, south side of the building (no postage necessary). Baca County Courthouse, 741 Main, Springfield, CO 81073. This option is highly encouraged for the easy access for the voters.

Election Services Provided:  Register to vote, update voter information, receive replacement ballots; return ballots; cast a ballot either by paper or electronic voting machine; cast a provisional ballot.
